Last Tuesday after some practice with idioms, we visited a place called Avilion. It is a combination of sims with medieval themed environments.

Avilionという、中世英国をテーマにしたシムに行きました。






At Avilion we are required to dress in the medieval style before entering the gate. There are freebie costumes for men and women outside the gate, so those without an appropriate costume can take one and wear it. Once inside, you will find yourself in a beautiful forest with very lush green grass.



門の前でまず中世風の衣装に着替えます。持っていなければフリーの衣装が箱に入って置いてあるのでそれをゲット。
門をくぐって坂を下っていくと、そこは中世の村への入り口。





Just taking a walk around is nice enough, but there are some activities you can take part in. We found a very cozy tavern in the small village. The interior is very nice and there are some things you can play with here, too. You can play darts, or even arm wrestle! The animation is really funny.


美しくしっとりとした木々と緑の森の中、楽器を演奏したり森を散策したり。
村では酒場もあり、キッチンやらダーツゲーム、腕相撲などもあり、結構楽しめます。


This place seems to have a lot more to see and we didn't have enough time to check them all. So we will definately be coming back here soon!
とにかく大きな結合シムなので、まだまだ見所がありそう。

Oh, one thing to remember.
You will be addressed to in medieval English. hehe.. Which means, when you meet someone, you need to say, "Greetings" instead of just saying, "Hi" or "Hello".　And that is only the beginning. If you have read Shakespeare or Chaucer, you know what I mean. You may like to try out this very very very old form of English if you are so inclined... haha

そうそう、ここは中世の村なので、英語も中世英語で話しかけられます。こちらもがんばって中世っぽく返事をしてみましょう。
まあそれほど必死にならなくても、普通に話をしても怒られませんけど、下品な態度や言動は控えましょうね。
