Hello everyone!

I've completed my move and will host a session at the chat ring at the usual time, 6am SLT.

We will talk about collocations. This will be for intermediate and advanced learners.
"Feel free" to drop in and find out what collocations are and how they are used!

After spending a little time with collocations we'll explore SL together.

Something different. Let's do Mad Libs! What's a Mad Lib? I'll ask you for some adjectives, adverbs, verbs and others. Then we'll fill in the blanks of a story I'll give you and then read them together. Funny! See you at 5AM.

5AM - Leasson Time - Reading Circle Demo


Hi all.

We'll have another demo lesson for the Reading Circle class.
This week we wil practice the Word Master role. We'll read a passage and then find words or phrases that are difficult to understand, have many meanings, or seem strange. For example, read this: "The sultry brown paper bag rocketed off the roof and into the heavens never to be seen again." Discuss.

This week we wil practice the Connector role. We'll read a passage and then discuss how it connects to our real life.
For example: A sick boy gets better after he finally meets Mickey Mouse. How can we connect this to our real life? Well, we all have hopes and dreams that keep us alive, right?

プロフェッサーのeLearningコースに登録済みで今までレッスンやアクティビティで貯まったポイントで受講します。受講には500ポイント必要となります。
授業は8週間、第一回目は1/13から3/3までの毎週水曜午後9時から2時間行う予定です。
受講にはポイントの他に、テキストとなる本を個人でご購入いただく必要があります。お近くの書店やAmazonなどのオンライン書店にてご購入いただけます。

On Wednesday at 6am SLT we'll have a lesson for beginner and intermediate learners.
We'll talk about what Comparative and Superlative words are and how to use them.
We'll then do an activity and find a cool sim to travel to.

There is a BIG scavenger hunt on Cypris Village ready for you to do during your holiday break. Click the yellow beacons and touch the photos. 20 Participation Points EACH! There are 30 of them around Cypris. That's 600 points!!

サイプリス村では今年2回目の宝探しゲームが始まっています。ゲームとは言っても、ただ遊んで終わりではありません。Cypris Chat English のE-Learning システム（無料）に登録していろんなアクティビティ（SL & web)に積極的に参加していくとポイントが貯まります。そのポイントを使って来年開始予定のBook Reading classなど、本物の大学レベルのレッスンに参加することができるのです。ただSLのグループのメンバーになっているだけで何もせず特に参加もしないのでは英語力、英会話力は上達しません。ですからこの機会にE-Learning システムに登録して宝探しでポイントゲットから始めましょう！
ゲームの詳細はCypris Villageのウェルカムエリアにある下の写真のパネルをタッチしてインフォをもらってください。


※E-Learningシステムへの登録方法は、ヴィレッジのChat Ring に近い小屋の黄色い扉に左クリックでタッチするところから始まります。（扉の右横またはこちらに説明のスライドもありますので確認してください。）

注）姓名は必ずＳＬのアバター名で登録してください。（大文字小文字など間違えないように。）
また、ユーザー名とパスワードはなんでも構いませんが、ウェブへのログイン時に必要です。忘れないように控えておきましょう。

登録が完了するとメールが届き、その中のリンクをクリックするとまたE-Learningのサイトへ飛び、認証が完了します。そこでCypris Chat Practiceというリンクをクリックするとログインできます。自分のポイントを確認したり、またウェブ上で行うレッスンなどの時に使うので、ブックマークしておいてください。
また、登録認証が完了したら小屋の黄色い扉にもう一度タッチすると、扉が開き中に入れます。中には毎日もしくは週に数回ポイントがもらえるアテンダンスチェッカーがありますので忘れずにタッチしてください。（もし扉が開かずにまたウェブへの案内が出たら、登録がうまくいっていないということです。スタッフまで連絡してください。）
