今週火曜日夜10時からのチャットタイムのお知らせです。
Do you know what a chicken says? Cluck cluck. Or how about a snake? Hiss.
雌鶏が英語でどんな鳴き声か知っていますか？「そりゃコケコッコーでしょ」と思った人、それは雄鶏ですヨ。
じゃあヘビはどうでしょう。。。。？あ、ヘビは鳴かないので、どんな音を出すか、という意味です。＾＾ゞ
Tuesday we're going to learn about onomatopoeia; words we use to express sounds.
今回はいろんな音をどう表現するか、ちょっと勉強してみましょう。
My son uses these words probably more than he uses real words. Bam boom crash bang swoosh and vroom...but of course he says them in Japanese. What do animals say in your language?
確かに、子供達は擬音語が得意ですね～。
