先生紹介； Professor Merryman
今回は、Cypris VillageオーナーでCypris Chat Englishのメインの先生、Professor Merrymanです。
Merryman先生は、アメリカのサンフランシスコ出身、現在は神戸在住で大学で英語を教えています。
以前English VillageにDuke先生と共にいらっしゃったのを覚えている方も多いでしょうね。
そして、二人がよりコンパクトな英語教育・学習コミュニティ作りを求めて独立し、出来たのがCypris Chatです。

Hi! My name is Professor Merryman or Mike McKay in real life. I live in Kobe. I am a part-time professor of English at Mukogawa Women's University and Kwansei Gakuin University (Kangaku).
I'm originaly from Anaheim, California but I tell everyone I am from San Francisco because that is where I moved to Japan from.
I've been living here since 1999 and I love living here. The food is great, it's safe, and there is enough work here for me to support my family.
What do I like to do in my free time?
I love to eat, drink, and sing...in that order. If I have any other time, I am usually playing jazz on my midi wind controller or building, chatting, or playing in Second Life.
I have taught at Berlitz for 6 years, and universities since 2004. I have taught over 30,000 students from ages 2 to 92. I am also TEFL and TESOL certified with a BS in eBusiness and an M.Ed. in technology.
I have just started taking students for private lessons. This is the first time I have agreed to teach privately in Second Life. If you are interested in me showing you how fun Second Life can be to learn English, please IM Mystie Slade and tell her you are interested in taking lessons.
I only teach Japanese speakers.
I look forward to seeing you at Cypris!!

メリーマン教授は今回初めてセカンドライフ内で英語の中～上級者向けプライベート、セミプライベートレッスンを受け付けることになりました。本気で、しかも楽しく取り組みたい方にオススメです。限定5組です！
レッスンは有料になりますが、詳細や面接についてはMystie SladeまでIM、もしくはE-Mailで cyprischat@gmail.com までどうぞ。（日本人のみ対象）
まあ、なにはともあれ、興味のある方、先生との相性などが気になる方は火曜・木曜のグループチャットにお越しください。雰囲気が分かると思います。
※レッスン内容はご希望によりオーダーメイドもできますが、ご希望に添えない場合やレッスンの効果が期待できない方の場合は受講をお断りする場合もあります。
